My name is Nannette Carter and I have been a member of
the Ladies Workout Express in High Point, NC since November
of 2004.
My inspiration to lose weight was a $1000 bet
with my Aunt to lose weight before a family reunion. I
also knew it was time for a change. I cut back on carbohydrates,
flour, starches and ate no sugar. I started the exercise
routine at Ladies Workout Express three days a week for
30 minutes a workout.
I had to realize it was up to me
to get rid of the weight. I had to stick to my diet and
exercise plan even though at first it was unbelievably
hard. Ladies Workout Express started me exercising and
put me on the track to losing weight. I could have only
dieted, but without the exercise it would not have worked.
I had great instructors and felt comfortable which made
me want to keep going. I still have more weight to lose
and I will stick with Ladies Workout Express until I reach
my goal and after to maintain my weight.
Advice I would
give others is to not give up or let people tell you that
you can not lose a certain amount of weight. Set a goal
in your mind and go for it!
