Vita Zorbo - Owner & Life Coach
Since 2003, Lady of America of West Hempstead has been instrumental in helping women begin a healthier lifestyle. As owner, I am a hands-on operator of my club and have a passion for fitness. I love motivating members and getting them to reach new levels in their fitness regimen so they can live healthier and happier lives. I also enjoy mentoring many to make changes in their own lives to better themselves whether it is to get a better job or to pursue a dream they've had. In addition to running the club, I am Secretary and Board member for the West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce. I'm also a member of the Community Support Association, Kiwanis and Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce. I strongly believe that giving back to the community is an integral part of doing business in the community.I support all local schools and organizations through a variety of fundraisers. I am also a big supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and have raised over $50,000 to date with the annual Ab Crunch Challenge.

I knew when I joined the fitness industry as an instructor in 2001, I could provide motivation, energy, and knowledge to all those I would come in contact with on a daily basis. This driving passion has inspired me to always achieve higher levels personally and professionally for myself and for you. Join me on Thursday mornings for Spin and Power Sculpt and on Sunday mornings for Spin and Boot Camp!

Diana Ryan - Zumba and Zumba Toning Certified Instructor, & Fitness Coach
Diana Ryan joined Lady of America in 2005 and is a great motivator and wonderful fitness coach. Shortly after joining our team she became certified to teach Zumba classes and the rest is history. Be sure to try her Zumba classes for a great, fun workout that promises to burn lots of calories! Working out with Diana is like going to a party. On Tuesdays at 6pm, Thursdays, 7pm, Fridays 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10am. She is also available for fundraisers, off-site programs and our famous Girls Night Out Parties!

Rosemarie Friedman - NYS-Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician and Reflexologist
Feel great, look great! Rosemarie has been with Lady of America since 2004 and is a wonderful massage therapist, esthetician and reflexologist. Need to relax and take some stress out of your life....give Rosemarie a try!

Theresa Michelini - Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness & Mad Dogg Spin Instructor
Theresa is a great trainer and wonderful motivator at Lady of America. She promises to kick your butt and we dare you to take one of her classes! She has a passion for fitness and will get you to reach new levels. We have named her the Italian version of Jillian from the Biggest Loser. Join her for a Spin Fusion class on Mondays at 9:15AM, Total Body Toning on Wednesdays at 8:15AM and Cardio Interval on Fridays at 9AM.

Lisa Abbate - Certified Group Fitness & Spinning Instructor and Personal Trainer
Lisa is a wonderful addition to the Lady of America team. She is a Personal Trainer, Spin and Group Fitness Instructor. Lisa has always been into fitness ever since she was a teen. She teaches several classes a week and has been doing it for years and really enjoys it. She also likes helping others feel good about themselves through exercise and being healthy. Fitness is a way of life for her. Be sure to try her Power Spin class on Saturdays at 8am and on Monday mornings she teaches two low impact classes at 7:30 and 8am, and on Monday evenings she teaches an Express Sculpt at 5:45pm and an Express Spin at 6:30pm. She is also available for Personal Training!

Patti Dillman - Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness and Spin Instructor
Patti is a great Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. She helps to motivate and help members achieve results. Be sure to catch her Sculpt n' Tone class on Tuesdays at 7pm and Boot Camp on Thursdays at 6pm. She is also available to personal train too!

Christine DeVivo - Adminstrative Manager & Fitness Coach
Since 2003, Christine is the Adminstrative Manager and handles all member issues. She is the go to person when you have any billing questions or medical conditions. She also is a Fitness Coach and helps to make the experience of the member a number one priority. She will greet you with a smile on her face!

Kathy Spinner - Personal Trainer & Fitness Coach
Kathy joined Lady of America in early 2008 and has been a great addition to our team. She is a great motivator and fitness coach. She will help you achieve results and always has a smile on her face! She believes in delivering excellent customer service! In 2011, she became certified as a Personal Trainer as is now available to train you too!

Jane McQueen - Certified Yoga Teacher
Have a lot of stress in your life? Be sure to try our Gentle Yoga with Jane. Jane teaches class on Wednesdays 7am and Sunday 10:30am. This yoga class is great for beginners.

Antonella "Toni" Sullivan - Certified Yoga Instructor
Toni is our newest addition to our Yoga program. Toni teaches a wonderful class on Tuesdays at 8pm called Yoga Flow. It is a combination of gentle and power yoga moves. Due to popular demand we have added another class with Toni on Fridays at 6:30PM. This is a great way to end your work week! Be sure to give her classes a try!

Lauren is our newest addition to the Lady of America staff. She is a wonderful fitness coach who goes out of her way to serve our members. Lauren is also a Turbo Kick Certified Instructor so try and catch her class!

Cheri Falcone - Certified Spin & Group Fitness Instructor
Check out Cheri on Tuesday mornings for a great Spin class followed by Strong & Lean. Her classes are amazing and she takes members to new heights with their fitness regimen!

Deborah Tarricone - Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Deborah is our newest addition to our team and teaches a Cardio Fusion class on Mondays at 7pm and Cardio Kix on Wednesday nights at 6PM. Her classes are intense and promises to burn lots of calories! She has a passion for helping others to recognize and achieve their fitness goals. She enjoys teaching because it gives her an opportunity to do what she loves, which is to MOTIVATE, ENCOURAGE and PUSH people toward their aspiration. She is also known for singing in her classes and saying “Give me 8 More". Fitness is in her mind, heart and soul and she loves sharing it.

Angela Trop - Zumba Instructor & Zumbatomics Certified
Angela is another great addition to our team. Angela teaches Zumba on Wednesdays at 5:15PM andthe ladies are loving her. She also recently became Zumbatomics Certified and now is available to teach Zumba to kids. We now do Zumbatomics Fitness Birthday parties for children ages 6 and up!!! Call us to try her class or to book a party!!!

Tami Mele - Fitness Instructor, Kickboxer & Personal Trainer
Tami joined the Lady of America Team in 2009 and since then has kicked some butt here. Tami runs our 4 & 6 week Kickboxing Group Training Bootcamps. The workouts are real intense and the ladies are loving them. In addition to the bootcamps she is also a fitness and dance instructor.

Kathi Monroe - Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist
Kathi recently joined our team and has introduced Acupuncture Services to our gym. Kathi has been a licensed Massage Therapist over 10 years and in 2003, added the practice of Oriental Medicine to her holistic approach of treating patients. Kathi has mastered Zhang Fu, Five Elements and Japanese Acupuncture techniques as well as NAET, an allergy elimination treatment. She has expertise in Aromatherapy, Swedish and Amma massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release. The treatments are available right at the gym and you get a free consultation!!!

Dawn Mossa-Malave - Exercise Physiologist & Certified Pilates Reformer Trainer
Dawn is passionate about Pilates, please join her on Wednesdays at 7PM or Saturday 9AM for her Mat Pilates n' Props class. In addition to teaching mat classes, Dawn has many one-on-one clients that she trains on reformer. If you are looking to reshape your body and get long and lean, then Pilates is the right workout for you. As an exercise physiologist, she will create a workout plan that will give you the results you are looking for. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Kickboxing Instructor.

Elizabeth Campbell - Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor & Personal Trainer
Elizabeth Campbell, RYT 200 hour, is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor through the Yoga and Polarity Center of Malverne and is registered with the National Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga for 9 years and is a certified personal trainer. Her classes are designed to help build strength, gain flexibility and to discover an inner sense of peace and relaxation. Students are encouraged to be sensitive to their bodies and work within their physical capabilities and limitations. Her intention is to have each student leave class with calmness in their mind, openness and peace in their heart, and a healthy awareness of their body.
